ABOUT US
Haus of Owl is a curated creative house at 780 Blanshard Street in downtown Victoria. Jordan Dack founded it in 2022 to give working creators a home: studios, shared tools and a community under one roof. We believe strong art emerges from a strong community.
Our story
From an empty fourth floor to a house full of creators.
2022
A house for creators
Planning began in early 2022. In April we moved into 780 Blanshard, on the fourth floor of the Rockslide arts hub, and walked our first artists through the space.
Why
Access for artists
Rising costs were pushing artists out of Victoria. Haus of Owl set out to keep creative work possible here: affordable studios, shared tools, and a unified voice for working creators.
Today
Haus of Owl Creation Club
We are a registered BC society. Members record, shoot, rehearse, perform and gather here, with support over the years from the CRD, the Victoria Music Strategy and TELUS STORYHIVE.
By the numbers
Figures cover spring 2022 to October 2026.
Help keep the house open
Haus of Owl runs on its members and supporters. If you believe in a home for Victoria's creators, you can help it grow.
