An experiential art exhibit blending live visual art and sensory storytelling. This performative art piece captures parts of Scarlet Jaxen’s story as a white, cis, witch with origins from Lancashire, untangling from a web of supremacy and patriarchy. Deconstructing roles and identity, rooting into truth, and reclaiming the deep and constant pulse of my sensations. It is a response to the inquiry “what does it mean to lead myself” and the stages moved through to remember how to listen and trust one’s own authority.

Sensory Storytelling weaves multiple senses (visual, audial, scent, and texture) to tell a story. It is a creative process that engages the audience and translates experiences beyond words.

“Senses” is an immersive sensory experience. Audience members will be within close proximity of one another and will have the option of becoming part of the visual art created during the show. Wear something you are comfortable getting paint on!
