Decision Filter

Run any proposed project, event, partnership, or marketing idea through the same three steps the strategy uses: hard rules, the six-conditions filter, then strategic fit.

How to use it: evaluate as a group where possible, and have someone other than the person proposing the idea operate the controls. Answer from evidence, not enthusiasm.

The idea

Describe it plainly. If it can't be summarized in one line, that is useful information in itself.

Step 1

Hard Rules

from the Strategic Plan. A single "yes" ends the evaluation - no score can buy it back. If you genuinely don't know, answer "not sure": an unresolved hard rule means the idea isn't ready to evaluate.

Step 2

The Six Conditions

The decision filter from the Strategic Plan: every program, hire, partnership, or space decision must genuinely strengthen at least 2 of the six conditions for great work. Select only what it clearly strengthens - "sort of" doesn't count.

Step 3

Strategic Fit

The verdict shows its full reasoning, not just a score. If any answer changes afterward, evaluate again.

Answers changed since the last evaluation - run it again.
